Royal Online Communion Service

Taking Communion. Cup of glass with red wine, bread and Holy Bible on wooden table close-up. Focus on glass

This will be an especially meaningful time of communion where we join together to reflect on Jesus’s sacrifice for us on the cross.

This special service will help you reflect on God’s love for you and the hope we have while being  SAFE, SIMPLE, and SHORT – and you can use juice/bread that you already have at home.

1 Corinthians 11:23-26

 It is a simple act.
“The Lord Jesus, on the night He was betrayed, took bread…” (vs. 23)
 It is a reminder.
“…and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, ‘This is my body, which is for you; eat it in remembrance of me.’” (vs. 24)
 It is a symbol.
“In the same way, He took the cup, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood; drink it to remember me.’” (vs. 25)
It is a statement of faith.
“For whenever you eat the bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes back.” (vs. 26)

Here’s how it works:
Gather the items for your communion. Typically we use unleavened bread and grape juice…but there is nothing in scripture that says you have to do it that way.  If you have any type of bread and juice or even water.   What maters here is our hearts.  But make sure you are prepared.

We will lead you in a short devotion, scripture reading, a time of prayer, and we’ll receive the Lord’s Supper together.
